One Simple Act Video Tips
If there’s one thing that Albertans are known for, it’s leading the way, working together and making a difference. One Simple Act wants to bring the collective wisdom of Albertans together to explore the different ways we can live green. We want to know the simple changes you’re making to live more environment-friendly.
Tell us what you do, and show us how you do it! Your ideas could be featured on the One Simple Act website, Facebook page, and in our workshops. Your simple acts can make a difference in the world!
What we’re looking for
We're looking for videos that inspire others and show them that change is simple and possible. Videos can fit into one of the following categories:
Green Routines. These are things you do regularly to reduce your impact on the environment, like bringing reusable bags shopping, changing to compact fluorescent lightbulbs, composting, recycling, carpooling or buying used instead of new. Show us simple changes you’ve made to your house, vehicle, or business to live more sustainably?
Green DIY Projects. Do your friends and neighbours often come to you for help? Are you helping them down the road to eco-friendly sense and sensibility? Bring your how-to tips to One Simple Act and become the head of the class.
Put your best simple act forward. Every 3 months, we’ll give a energy, waste or water conservation kit for the video that most inspires us.
Instructions
Large or small, ordinary or extraordinary we want to hear how you are doing things to help make a difference in Alberta. Eligible success stories and videos will be considered for inclusion on the One Simple Act website.
